The McCallum Theatre invites you to kick off its 2026–2027 Season on Saturday, September 12 with our first-ever Community Block Party!
Beginning at 5:30 PM, our plaza will come alive with music, local vendors, community partners, and family-friendly activities as we celebrate the start of a new season and Hispanic Heritage Month. Then, keep the celebration going at 8:00 PM with Ozomatli live on our main stage. The Los Angeles-based, Grammy Award-winning band blends Latin, hip-hop, funk, reggae, and global rhythms for an unforgettable concert experience.
Admission to the Community Block Party is free and open to the public. Enjoy local Hispanic and Latino-owned businesses and organizations, including fan favorite DJ Alf Alpha spinning from his iconic Super Sonído Sistema VW Van, Las Carretas Taco Shop, additional food vendors, shopping booths, community partners, an interactive photo booth, dancing, and more.
