Attendance provides an opportunity to befriend the performing arts and make powerful connections to the core curriculum. Performances are offered at no cost to students and teachers, open to public, private, and home schools.

- Student group organizers can request seats for any Series performance. Each performance requires a separate request form.

- To request seats, click on “Request Seats” on the relevant performance page.

- School groups may attend performances at no cost, thanks to generous support from individuals, businesses, foundations, and municipalities.

- Student group organizers must arrange and pay for their bus transportation to and from McCallum Theatre. Free parking is available for buses and passenger vehicles.

- Submitting a request form doesn’t guarantee attendance. Organizers will be notified via email about the status of their request.

- McCallum receives thousands of seat requests, so it’s important to communicate promptly and responsibly to all Series-related emails or another school will be offered the seats.

Pacifico Dance Company’s spirited and joyful performances celebrate the many regions of Mexico—a country with a colorful history, rich traditions, and diverse cultures. Characteristics unique to each region are reflected in the music, footwork, skirt work, patterning styles, and costuming. Under the artistic direction of founder Adriana Astorga-Gainey, a first-generation American, Pacifico carefully preserves traditional dance forms and creates works that vibrantly fuse folk style with contemporary influences.

Jake’s musical journey began at just four years old, when he first picked up the ukulele. He couldn’t have known then how profoundly that tiny four‑string instrument would shape his life. Today, he’s often compared to legends like Jimi Hendrix and Miles Davis for the way he continually expands the boundaries of what the ukulele can do.

Why Did Beethoven Throw the Stew? is a fun and interactive concert presented by Rachel Leach and the London Symphony Orchestra. Inspired by Steven Isserlis’ popular children’s book, the concert explores Beethoven’s life and music through storytelling, audience participation and some of his most famous symphonic works. A specially written song invites students to sing along and become part of the performance.
